سيطلق إن شاء الله تعالى الناشر Open Access Publishing in European Networks (OAPEN) Foundation النسخة التجريبية من دليل الكتب مفتوحة الوصول Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB)  في أوائل ربيع 2012، حيث يوفر فهرس قابل للبحث للأبحاث Monographs والمجلدات المحررة Edited Volumes  المحكمة والمنشورة وفقاً لنظام الوصول المفتوح، مع روابط ووصلات للنص الكامل للمنشورات بموقع الناشر أو بالمستودعات الرقمية. وسوف تشمل النسخة التجريبية على منشورات لعدد مختار من الناشرين الأكاديميين.

Description: The Texas State Library’s Technology Expertise, Access and Learning for all Texans Project (TEAL) is excited to share Connected Texas’ Every Community Online (ECO) basic computer and internet skills training program with Texas libraries. This exciting new program, available at: http://www.connectedtx.org/every-community-online, features Goodwill Community Foundation’s LearnFree.org online modules and exciting incentives like a free computer sweepstakes to boost individual, self-paced participation and formal computer class attendance at your library. The Webinar will offer an overview of the ECO training portal, as well as advice from a technology trainer on how to integrate ECO into formal computer classes and how to use ECO as a reinforcement tool for your students.

ECO is managed by Connected Texas, an initiative working to ensure that all can experience the benefits of broadband. Technology, especially widespread access, use and adoption of broadband, improves all areas of life.
